Rabbit Hole Carnival: Soil

Renee kicked the door open. “The cavity has arrived!”

“Renee” Cel giggled. “You  brought Inky.”

“And Susie has her Tea kettle downstairs” Renee replied. “Your mom didn’t talk about that one though” 

“Okay Renee you know those are two entirely diff—” Cel started.

Both Renee and Susie closed the door,and say "she not decent” Susie said 
“Let her get a bathrobe at least!” Renee replied.

“Boys!” Cel said as she laughed. “They're messing with you. Come in!” Cel said.

Cody opens the door. “Uncool! Hilarious in the end, but uncool!”

“Oh I don't know about that one” Renee replied. “Jojo seemed like he liked the image.”

“Of his naked bartender of a circus clown, maybe?” Susie asked.

“I may have let her drink or two before we go here… or like 4… I joined the other 2 and daddy drove us.” Renee replied.

“Honestly,” Joshua said, adjusting his hair. And walking forward “I'm glad your mom’s not about let you walk out of this.”

“Joshua…” Cel replied. “No one blames you or Renee. You did what you had to, and it not like reality left with options”

“That’s not true.” Renee replied. “I was younger, and didn’t know. I had to flee and at my point. Leaving everything behind… including friends. But still could’ve asked around. It’s a bar. Someone would’ve heard something.”

“Mine kind of connections?” Joshua said. “I could find anything with the right story, and here using it pestered the one girl who actually bothered to stand up to me.”

“But we're not here about that,” Renee sat down next to Cel, and sighed. “We’re here, because Celius “Starchart” Twilight is considering leaving therapy?”

“And that is just not acceptable, the Occultic Five, and going down without a fight.” Cody replied.

“Oh shut up, Cody!” Cel shouted. “Like you're here for any other reason than the fact Renee found you in a dumpster after having been shoved into a locker for the 15th time.”

“And she helped me out, and introduced me to you two, I remember.” Cody replied. “And got Sussie and Joshua, and held a meeting. And then left us without a word. But still decided we going to keep it together and stand by each other”

“Wait what?” Renee asked.

“I did this too when you left.” Cel replied. “Lashed out, pointed out flaws. And they all came, and they asked me.  is ‘That what Renee would want?’”

“And was it?” Renee asked.

“Renee obviously it wasn’t” Cel said. “What are you asking me for?! You… The first thing you would do is pull us together, and face reality. Give a spark done before.”

"And then I go, and pull all of us back together. And you're by the mark of scorn , because it never used to happen before.” Renee said

“So do remember.” Cel said. Do you remember what I came after?”

“With or or two maybe 3 more. You’ll find a spark where you didn't before” Renee said.

“And like Twilightshield before.” Cel said. “in the corner where people are here to stay" 

“Your best is here, and is here to stay” Renee replied.

“And  when you know your place you find soil ” Cel said. My grandpa always used to sing that to me” Cel hugged Renee. “Starting to really think he knew what he was talking about.”
