“I don’t know.” Admitted an older looking female, as walked two others into this place. “I just remember here that they had a drink and bartender for everyone and everything.”

“Renee will be in here a bit.” Nick replied. “Welcome to the Rabbit Hole Carnival.”

“What drink will be your festival?” Renee replied, catching an open door.

“Give me a Memento.” Tim replied. “For a Tim.”

“Surprise old Abby, with a Fruit Roulette, dearie” Abby said.

“And you?” Renee leaned in, and focused on the young female looking figure. “What would you like?”
“Homesick” The young girl replied. “That sounds good.”

Renee walked behind the bar, and served up . But Renee served up the Homesick last. “Still not sure, right?”

“Diana…” She replied.

Renee bursted out laughing. “Oh, she is NOT alright.”

“Oh\f course not!” Tim said. “Do you have any idea how much she’s been through?”

There was a glare in Renee as she looked at Tim. “Was it worth then running away from her own home before she was even 18, because her actual father was a trash pile that neglected her emotions and abused her? Because if you think I haven’t seen that happen, you should think again.”

“It doesn't matter.” Diana said. “It’s not like a woman or anyone like a woman would order a sour drink.”

“Interesting that you should think that.” Renee replied. “Given that my non-binary leaning female self made due a cis-males requests.”

“I… Renee, was it?” Tim replied., to Diane's shock. “Could you perhaps answer a question from me?”
“I can certainly try,” Renee said. “What’s the question?”

“What… do I… How am I supposed to make a change in mindset, when it’s always felt like that to me?”

“I remember asking that question when Renee first came in here crying that night.” Nick said. “There were so many things that I wanted to ask, and never had the heart too.”

“Could’ve asked them now, if you wanted.” Renee replied.

“True, but I already have my answers.” Nick said. “Because I see everything I thought a little 3 year old would’ve turned out to be.”

“Certainly took me a while.” Renee replied.

“True as that may be, if I may interject?” Cel replied. “You got there in the end, and your creativity is still coming out. I’m still gonna take a Gobble Bobble this time, if you still have those.”

“I can make one or two.” Nick replied. “Consider it a thank you for getting her to me.”

“Really feels like that should be my line.” Cel said.

“Diane, you can’t just spend all your life committing to what everyone else thinks of you.” Renee said. “Trust me, it’s not gonna work. Sooner or later, you have to go for what you want. And ifv people wanna follow that, awesome. And if they don’t, so be it.”

“No, I’m just meant to be a failure.” Daine replied. “Meant to never achieve anything.”

“The only things meant to be, are the things you refuse to fight.” Renee replied. “Take it from a bartending girl who thought she was meant to be stuck for the rest of her life.”
