Phil entered this nightmare per Sofia’s instructions, which admittingly made it seem a lot safer. But Sofia’s warning did stick in his mind, at some point he’d have to pick which person to save. He felt like he knew, but walking, alone, through the long, dimly lit, hallways he wasn’t completely sure. “No one said I’d be alone.”

“Such is the price, seeker.” A commanding voice echoed through the halls. “Thou hasn’t not walked with truth, so now thou face LIES.” Phil tried his best to find the voice, but his attention was drawn away by flying pages and rosary beads.

Phil stumbled his way into avoiding most of the projected, but the few that did hit him hit hard. A cackling echoed through the hallways as Phil found himself walking circles. “Where are you?!” he shouted. “All this and your really much of a coward?

“A coward, perhaps, but at least I'm not the only one.” Cendarokia giggled. “You can’t face me anyways.I mean  you won’t even face yourself.”

There was a long pause before Phil sighed. “Face myself? Yeah that’s been difficult. And… I don’t know yet. But I know that’s because of you, that so many never made it. Worse yet is the all people that  made a choice they would never have made were it not for all this” Projectitles flew forward again, but this time none of them even hit Phil. “it’s time you and I talk Cenderoki. It’s time I face you!” With his single step forward. He found himself in the center of the mazes. The silhouetted nun also seemed rather confused.

“You actually found the place.” Cendaroki stated before pausing for several seconds. “It’s you’ve finally chosen something. A shame it will only be your demise” She held an arm up in the air. Pointing at the sky with two fingers before swinging downwards.

“Finally...chosen?” Phil stated as he looked up and saw a giant statue falling directly above. Sofia words once again echoed in his mind. “Pick... chose… and I think I remember a new story about commiting…” The statue slammed down into Phil’s head before breaking into several pieces. “I get it now.”

“Get what?” Cendaroki stated. “Your precise protector can’t save you forever!” She threw her crook towards him and missed, but it flew back to her hand. “You are nothing but a seeker down the path of life. A wandering fool who can’t understand!” She twirled her crook in several circle forming a tornado. “But for the wanderer, there is always a shepherd, for the seeker, there is always a guide.”

Phil stood before tornado unmoving pausing only briefly before he walked straight up to Cendaroki totally unaffected. Reaching out he grabbed her spinning crook like it was nothing. “This was never about which girl I picked.”

“Wh-what?” Cendaroki protested while trying to take her crook back. “Yes it was! All this is about! You. Weren’t. Suppose to. Stray.” one after the other each of her tug failed to even move Phil.

“To you, Sophia, my parents, and whoever else got involved in this.” Phil stated. “Maybe it was that simple. But the victims of your little game, it was a chance to choose. Well starting today I'm commiting” He yanked expected her to release her crook, but she held on to it just as tight. Her realm began melting as it faded away.

“Hmm…” Cendaroki stated. “Sorry, but you’re wrong.” She at long last yanked her crook back before swing and pulling back. Breaking Phil’s neck. Showing off by giving it a few spins she plunge the crook into his chest before ripping Phil’s heart out as he screamed.

EPILOGUE
------------
“You’re fine. You’re. Fine” Sofia stated having apparently pinned him by sitting on his chest. “Sorry. Didn't want you to wake up, and do something stupid.”

“Wha-what?” Phil stated panting as Sofia swung herself off him. Sofia! I-”

You’re not sure about me” Sofia stated. “Not why I did all this.”

“Then….why did you?” Phil questioned. “I understand just checking in once and a while but…”

“I’m a Mystic.” Sofia began. “If there’s one thing we can’t stand, it’s people making other people’s fate. It’s part of the forces countering Bal’stale type magics chose us. Besides” Sofia put a leg in between Phil’s legs as he state up on the bed leaning in close. “You might not be sure, but I am.”

“What um…” Phil struggled to speak as Sofia slowly drew closer. “What if it takes a while?”

“Well, I’m a 105.” Sofia stated staring at Phil with lust. “So you’ve got 561 years, but in the meantime.” She pounced like a tiger in wait, and submitted Phil to every possible pleasure she could think of. To Phil, one thing was clear that night. Sofia was going to claim him for herself...no matter how long it would take...
