/cPhil joined with the other silhouettes staring at the edge. “This is...different.”

“Tonight’s maze.” the usual nameless voice introduce himself once again. “Is ‘The Choice’ A giant labyrinth where you will face your decisions.”

“Only one floor, and that’s it only challenge?” The beastly silhouette stated. “Seems I might actually get some sleep tonight.” He said already about to make his way down the stairs.

Some others seem to agree, and followed suit. Others, like Phil, won’t so sure, but Phil went down the stairs anyways. As he stepped down to the floor, the sound of growling and hissing was suddenly behind him. “Oohh.. shiiit!” Phil took off running, apparently, his first opponents were his mom as a ghastly looking, medusa like creature, and his father as a werewolf, acting like her dog. Several times between a laser beam that made stone, and his feral charging right for him. Phil had several visions of himself as a zombie. At times he felt he sealed in, and only by throwing his chain up could continue running. As Phil crossed a line painted on the ground he stopped. Thinking he could rest, only for his wolf father to make a desperate attempted to charge several yards over the line right at him.

“Out of bounds.” the voice announced as silhouetted hoof swifty roundhouse kicked him across his face. The very feminine silhouette already looked incredibly familiar, and when she turned around to look at him the eyes made him certain.

“Sofia...How are you?” Phil failed wildy backwards. His wolf father launching at him again before a floating hand grabbed the dog collar.

A small green man stood before Phil his hand holding a now whimpering dog back. “My sincerest apologies, sir.” He began before closing his eyes. “We. Appear. To. Be. Breaking. The. RULES.”  The small man flung the Phil’s dad into his mom with ease.

“What...but?” Phil blinked and stared at the small man. “You don’t want to?”

“Tonight’s maze.” the small green man repeated.. “Is ‘The Choice’ A giant labyrinth where you will face your decisions.”

“And this is my turf.” Sofia stated. The small green man nodded before floating back up and out of site.”

“So… I win?” Phil stated.

“Against myself, but there’s 3 sections, sorry.” Sofia motion for Phil to follow so he did. Sofia’s part of the maze was rather peaceful. Not a lot of twists and turns, because she didn’t feel a lot need to be say. She stopped a couple feet away for another painted line. “Be careful, okay? She’s not happy with you to say the least.”

In all honesty Phil didn’t notice much change with Sophia. She never seemed happy with him, and the nightmare versions of her weren’t much different from each other, so she wasn’t much of a challenge this time around. Phil woke up to Sofia fast asleep, and wrapped around him. She didn’t even seem to stir when he got up to answer her door. “So you came here instead?”

There was a moment of silence as Sophia stared at you. Almost like she wasn’t expecting to even see you here. “You really wanna live in the past that much?”

Phil rubbed his eyes. “I hated the past, and i’ve hated living in it. That’s why we're breaking up.”

“We’re not breaking up.” Sophia stated rather matter of factly under the circumstances. “Because I'm not calling your dad.”
“Dad?” Sofia questioned stumbling forward wearing nothing, but Phil’s shirt. “The foul scar does your dad have to do with anything?” She yawned before resting her breasts on Phil’s back.

“You might have to stop her.” Phil stated as he got his phone, and scroll through his contact. Sophia went wide eye, and tried to grab the phone. But Phil backed up, and Sofia practically charged forward. “Hey dad.” Phil began. “Don’t worry about it.” Phil yawned “caused I just got up.” His dad’s rant seem more tedious than he remembered. Naturally he ranted his own voice horse, so Phil’s mom got on the phone. “I just broke up with Sophia. And I’m enjoying the company of a Dark Mystic, so don’t call me back.” Both girls paused. Sofia about as confused as Sophia was shocked. “That’s fine.” Phil took the phone away from his ear, and hung up.

“Get. Out. of. My. House.” Sofia stated pushing her which each word before slamming the door and locking it. “And I suppose you wanna sneak out the fire escape?” Sofia stated over the pounding on the door. “She might be a while.”
